KMBC-TV/KCWE-TV, the ABC/CW affiliates in Kansas City, is looking for an organized, detail-oriented team player with exceptional written and verbal skills to join our amazing team! We're looking for someone with a positive "can do attitude" to take advantage of this career opportunity to get your foot in the door of a highly respected TV station, owned by Hearst Television, an industry-leading television station group. This role will report to the Sales Director. Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to the account executives, sales managers, and research director. Order entry for both Local and National business. Assist account executives with prepping orders, emailing invoices, and handling sponsorship trackers. Help prepare sales presentations, programming "one-sheets," and other sales pieces. Create monthly reports and handle special requests in various media monitoring systems. Effectively and professionally communicate and interact with internal teams from all departments and external clients both on the phone, via email and in person. Maintain organized filing systems and shared drive maintenance. Back-up other sales support positions. Requirements: Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Windows, Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and manage multiple projects. Manage tight deadlines effectively. Capable of learning new systems promptly and thoroughly. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Highly focused and organized with extreme attention to detail. This position is fully onsite at the television station. In-person attendance is required. Relevant work experience will be considered. Hearst Television is a proud supporter of military veterans.
