The Department of English at the University of Toronto Scarborough encompasses specialist, major, and minor programs in Literature, a major and minor in Creative Writing, a minor in Film Studies, and co-op. Our undergraduate curriculum introduces students to literary and artistic texts from a wide range of historical and cultural contexts and gives them the tools to think and write critically about the world around them. Students also benefit from the opportunity towork closely with faculty members who have been recognized for excellence in teaching and research.
