Transportation Operations District Manager About this role: We are actively searching for a District Operations Manager for our North-East operation. The area of focus is Newark, NJ, Philadelphia, PA and Baltimore, MD. Compensation: Full-time salary range: $85,000 - $105,000 Position qualifies for an annual bonus for meeting and exceeding expectations. Travel: This role requires up to 75% in the field and 25% remote in a hybrid role. This position may qualify for a car allowance or company vehicle. Responsibilities of this important role are: Safety is a top priority at Toppoint and we strive to ensure we protect our drivers and patrons on the road. We maintain an above standard of safety by a series of processes that will be overseen by this impactful role including but not limited to: Daily Truck Inspections Daily Chassis Inspections All road equipment inspections including DOT inspection decals, registration, IFTA, etc. Monitor driver logs Accident/incidents and support documentation collection Dash Camera alert monitoring and installations Installation and monitoring of telematics devices Voluntary DOT Inspection scheduling DOT Safety Score monitoring and suggesting, presenting and implementing approved preventative measures Theft prevention - monitoring the parking lot cameras for alerts and ensuring all accessibility into the yard is limited and secure at the end of each day Facilitate repairs for preventative measures on chassis Ensure Key Performance Metrics for safety are at or below the assigned threshold by executive management - Communicate any and all prospective risks to safety to the leadership team Professional Skills: MS Office Suite (excel, outlook, PowerPoint) G-suite is a plus too Education/Experience/Requirements: Bachelor's Degree preferred 5-Years in the trucking industry - drayage preferred Valid Driver's License Ability to lift over 75lbs Ability to stand for long periods of time ABOUT US: Toppoint Inc. was founded in 2015 with extensive roots in paper waste recycling.
