Work Arrangement: Hybrid Department: ESG and Environment Department Overview Pembina Pipeline Corporation is currently recruiting for a Senior Advisor, ESG for a 14-month fixed term. Reporting to the Manager, ESG the successful candidate will play a supporting role in helping execute Pembina’s 2023 Sustainability Report and contributing to Pembina’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) process and controls documentation to prepare for upcoming sustainability reporting standards and requirements in Canada. The ideal candidate is a passionate accounting professional who consistently exceeds expectations and thrives in a challenging workplace. As this is an area which is developing rapidly, we are looking for someone who embraces change and can adapt to new requirements easily and with enthusiasm. This individual will be driven and able to make decisions and work independently, as well as effectively supporting and leading from within a team. Responsibilities Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to develop and implement processes, controls and systems to ensure timely, accurate and auditable reporting of ESG data; Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on interpretation of ESG internal control requirements; Research or review regulatory, technical, or market issues related to sustainability strategy and disclosure; Maintain up to date knowledge of best practices regarding ESG disclosures, emerging trends, peer review and benchmarking, analysis of North American and global sustainability frameworks and guidance; Review and respond to standard-setting and regulatory developments that may have an impact on Pembina’s ESG disclosure with a strategic mindset; Support Investor Relations and Finance teams with high-quality, consistent and accurate ESG information, advice and messaging to the investment community; Coordinate and partner cross-functionally on developing internal and external.
