The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. Position Overview Under the general direction of the radiologist and manager (or designate), the incumbent: Performs and/or assists radiologists or other physicians in the performance of all CT scans including biopsies and aspirations, and in radiological procedures such as general duty, fluoroscopic procedures, and OR procedures. Experience Minimum three (3) years Radiology experience. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Graduate of an approved school of Medical Radiological Technology. Successful completion of the C. A. M. R. T. CT Imaging Certificate. May consider an applicant currently enrolled in the CT Imaging Certificate courses. Willingness to further education in technical areas to keep abreast of innovations in the field. Certification/Licensure/Registration Currently registered with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (C. A. M. R. T. ). Qualifications and Skills Good interpersonal skills, communication skills and organizational skills. Discreet and confidential in hospital/patient related matters. Physical Requirements Must be in good physical and mental health and be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time without resting. Must demonstrate the use of safe.
