Position: Senior Buyer Reports to: Procurement and Planning Manager We are looking for a Senior Buyer - Grain to join our Supply Chain team! Our Buyer will be sourcing and purchasing ingredients for our delicious, plant-powerful products. Opportunities In this role, you will get a chance to share best practices and implement process improvements! You will have experience in the manufacturing industry and a strong understanding of supply chain management. You will have the opportunity to work with a fantastic team of people who are very collaborative, supportive, and enjoy a fair bit of fun at work! Knowledge & skills You have experience with lean manufacturing practices. You have intermediate Excel skills. You have strong computer skills (Great Plains, Word, Outlook, etc. ) Experience You have proven experience in a high-stress fast-paced environment. You have 5+ years of sourcing and buying experience. You have prior grain buying experience. Nice-to-Have You have experience purchasing food ingredients. You have some co-packing experience. You have post-secondary education in supply chain management. things you will do… Champion procurement activities in a busy food production environment Ensuring a secure and steady supply of grains to the production.
