Position Title: Licensed Industrial Mechanic / Apprentice Position Type: Regular - Full-Time Position Location: Florenceville Prepared Foods Requisition ID: 25409 DATE: September 19, 2023 JOB TITLE: Licensed Industrial Mechanic / Apprentice DEPARTMENT: Maintenance GRADE RANGE: Grade range dependent upon qualifications. Mc Cain Foods (Canada) Florenceville, New Brunswick Prepared Foods facility has an immediate opening for a full-time permanent Licensed Industrial Mechanic to join the maintenance team. The position is responsible for the setup and changeover of processing equipment, performing all assigned predictive and preventive maintenance tasks, performing food safety verifications, troubleshooting, and resolving mechanical/electrical issues. More than one successful applicant may be selected for this position. Skills/Qualifications: Fully licensed industrial mechanic. Consideration may be given to a recent graduate from a 40-week community college industrial mechanic program. Applicants will be responsible for bringing their own hand tools and CSA approved footwear. Excellent organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks. Ability to accept and embrace change in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, with good organizing and coordinating skills. Strong working knowledge of PCs and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to successfully work individually or collaboratively with others. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is considered an asset. Observant and detail-minded with a natural sense of urgency. Effective Verbal and Written communication skills are essential. Ability to interpret mechanical prints. Ability to interpret pneumatic and hydraulic circuits. Ability to work with minimum supervision. Successful completion of a 90-day training period.
