CWP is a lumber trading business (buys/sells and organizes the transport of lumber across North America and beyond). We buy and sell commodity lumber for the construction industry. Our clients are large lumber retailers, contractors and truss manufacturers in Canada and the United States. We are always looking for motivated people with strong business instincts and ambition to join our team. Curious to know more? Lumber Trader at CWP ; As a Lumber Trader, you will: Build relationships with suppliers & clients – cold calling is essential; Negotiate the purchase & sale of lumber across North America; Monitor market trends to capitalize on purchasing and sales opportunities; Closely work with Logistics and Operations to ensure trades are executed efficiently; Provide great customer service. Profiles we are looking for: Due to the territories covered by the job, you must be fluent in English, both written and oral (Essential); You have experience in customer service (Essential); You pay exceptional attention to detail and have an acute sense of ownership; You have an effective communication & negotiation skills; You are able to effectively manage a multitude of tasks while keeping all parties involved; You have a Diploma/Degree in Business/Logistics and/or experience in Sales or transportation/logistics (Asset); What we offer: An entrepreneurial culture that encourages initiative.
