Position Title: Sr. Financial Analyst, Agriculture Strategy Position Type: Regular - Full-Time Position Location: Florenceville Main Requisition ID: 25503 The Senior Financial Analyst, Ag Strategy is responsible for supporting the Sr. Director, Finance, and the Potato Operations Finance team in optimizing our cost structure, improving market competitiveness, and delivering North American Agricultural strategic objectives; this position is responsible for all financial aspects of NA Ag Strategy. The Senior Analyst plays a key role in understanding agricultural economics through examining data and statistics to model, understand, and make predictions of the agricultural market, including analysis of production, consumption, and distribution. Responsibilities will include partnering with NA Agriculture functional leads, providing financial oversight to forward manage the business; include the assembly and analysis of financial data supporting the planning and decision-making processes that ensure profitability and sustainability of Mc Cain Foods. This position identifies opportunities and risks and compares results to relative benchmarks. This position works collaboratively with others, institutes best practices, and challenges the acceptance of status quo demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement. The Senior Financial Analyst has high visibility within the North American organization, working directly with senior leadership and Global Finance. This individual will excel in their ability to simplify financial storylines, and present data in a clear and structured manner. This role will also be a key leader in implementing our Ag-Sustainability strategy and achieving our Regenerative Agriculture objectives. Through analytics and reporting this role will provide comprehensive financial oversight to the Sustainability investments the NA business is pursuing supporting the strategy.
