ABOUT THE ROLE: The Senior Manager has an integral role building trusted business partnerships across the organization and team, proactively improving transparency and forecasting accuracy, and continuously challenging the status quo. Reporting to the Director Finance, the Senior Manager provides financial reporting, planning and analysis to support Omni-channel operating and shop profit at Sephora. The Senior Manager is passionate about sharing knowledge, developing talent, working cross functionally, and establishing new and innovative ways to improve business processes, tools, and reporting! WHAT YOU’LL DO: Full ownership of the operational shop profit P&L, including understanding risks, re-forecasting / managing profitability, and long-term strategic planning Support all financial processes (budget, official re-forecasts (R1/R2)) with the objective to build a strong and compelling plan that meets expectations for the Canadian business. Ensure ongoing forecasts incorporate trends and relevant information Have a thorough understanding of technically complex areas of the financial statements (including – foreign exchange, obsolescence, payroll) to provide recommendations for improvement Responsible for partnering and managing the largest discretionary spend within the organization Prepare analysis and reporting for different target audiences that include both financial and non-financial content, including recurring financial results, forecast presentations,.
