What we are looking for Enthusiastic individuals looking for fun, camaraderie, challenges, and opportunities to mentor others while growing their career 10+ years of application development experience We partner with a collaborate with engineering teams to empower their velocity, while building security in We work with all the languages used by our engineering teams, including Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, Angular, Typescript, Swift, Kotlin, TerraForm, and more. We don't expect you to know them all, but proficiency in one or more is necessary We work with various software patterns including client/server, APIs, microservices, pipelines, web, mobile, back-end, containers, and more. Proficiency in one or more is ideal, but ability to learn something new while applying solid design principles is key to success Someone who takes ownership and collaborates to produce high value outcomes Enjoy learning new technologies as they emerge Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals: data structures and algorithms Experience with common software engineering tools such as Git, JIRA, Confluence, etc. Bachelor's degree in computer science or comparable field, or equivalent self-study What you'll do (Design & Development) Operate independently with assistance from more experienced developers as needed Participate in the full SDLC; including development, estimation, planning, and design applications Deliver moderately complex code solutions Contribute to overall system design, architecture, security, scalability, reliability, and performance of applications Build on experience working with Docker, Linux, AWS, Terraform, and APIs using REST and GraphQL.
