Business Address: 19415, 78 Ave. Surrey British Columbia V4N 6C7 Title of position: General Manager Construction Operations & Business Development No. of positions: 1 Wages: $54.75/hr for 40 hours per week Job Type: Full-Time, year-round work Work Location: Surrey, BC Start Date of Employment: As soon as possible Job Description for the position of General Manager Construction Operations & Business Development at Amar Exteriors Ltd. is as: Plan, review and implement operational policies and procedures to achieve the companys objectives. Manage and coordinate the operations of departments, vendors and subcontractors to ensure efficacy and efficiency, thereby meeting the project deadlines. Recruit/Hire and manage staff and subcontractors as per the requirement at the project locations. Administer orders, ensure compliance to all trade regulations and safe work practices. Design cost effective methods for the same. Develop and implement business development initiatives and strategies, keeping into consideration the prevalent market trends and company targets in terms of revenue and expansion. Develop, review, and approve budget and financial strategies to ensure adequate allocation of financial resources. Forecast, analyze and plan; accordingly, the annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue. Represent the company in business negotiations and other official meetings. Ensure a mechanism to reach the clients, subcontractors and vendors to get feedback about the evolving needs and to backss the quality of companys relationship with them. Perform other duties as required. Skills and Experience requirement: Minimum 3-years of relevant experience in management is required. Previous experience as General Manager or Director would be an asset. Bachelors degree in business, marketing or related field is required.
