Our INVISTA Kingston, ON facility is seeking an Instrumentation and Controls Technician (Maintenance Technician). Our Team An integrated, supportive team of about 70 trades professionals and apprentices. What You Will Do I&C Technician will be responsible for installation, performing routine, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial instrumentation and control equipment, such as controllers, transmitters, and final control elements in accordance with our Environmental, Health, and Safety practices as part of the operating shift team. You will: Review the weekly work schedule and coordinate with the operating shift team to align priorities to successfully execute critical work to maintain equipment availability and PM compliance. Adhering to and promoting all safety regulations and procedures including performing proper lockout/tag-out procedures. Reading/interpreting technical work orders, blueprints, technical manuals, single-line electrical drawings, electrical code specifications, schematics, P&IDs, PLC, DCS systems, and instrument loop drawings to maintain proficiency in prescribed TSSA, ESA safety procedures, codes, and standards.
