You're organized and detail-oriented when approaching your daily tasks. You enjoy coming up with solutions when presented with a potential road block. You're known for your accuracy and have a natural talent for working in construction-related software programs. We're looking for a Project Scheduler that will be responsible for creating and monitoring construction project schedules for our multi-family residential projects throughout Canada. The role will ensure consistent accuracy of project schedules and monitor the progress throughout the project lifecycle. Your contributions to the team: Analyze contract documentation and derive schedule requirements for the project Develop baseline schedules ensuring the full integration of scope, schedule, costs, risk and resources Revises schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, or other interruptions Produces, maintains and revises summary and detailed schedules for ongoing project reporting and other program management Prepare project organization and communication charts Use project scheduling and control tools to monitor course of construction, project issues, and overall project health Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the client and project team Ensure accuracy of construction schedules in MS Project Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude What you'll need to be successful: Post-secondary education in construction management or equivalent Minimum three years’ experience in a project scheduling role MUST have working knowledge and experience of MS Project software or equivalent Background in land development or construction industry preferred Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities Experience using construction management software would be considered an asset Effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills Strong multi-tasking.
