Please note this is a 6-month internship opportunity beginning in January 2024. About the role: In our Research & Development Engineering Department, our Engineers focus on the ideation, design, prototyping, and manufacturing transfer of cutting-edge devices for use in medical procedures. As a Software Development Intern, you will support the development of GUI and other software applications across our diverse products. Your responsibilities will include: Support and lead product development, GUI development, and tool development activities Improve, verify, and validate existing products Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment and devices Develop technical documents such as product specification sheets and operational manuals Validate & test prototype designs to ensure they meet applicable regulatory expectations Work closely with sales and marketing departments to establish product launch strategies Work closely with quality departments to ensure product quality during production Maintain Technical Files, DHF, DMR other necessary documentation Required qualifications Working towards or recently completed post-secondary degree in Software Engineering and/or Computer Science. Working knowledge of the following: C#, SQL, Python. XAML and styling user controls for GUI. Windows 10 Io T. Windows Forms and WPF application development.
