Competition # Posting End Date: October 4, 2023 City: Winnipeg Work Location: Mac Charles Department: Prevention & Screening Union: CUPE FS Hiring Status: Term Reason for Term: Other Leave Anticipated Start and End Date: ASAP – Indefinite (may expire with 48 hours’ notice) FTE: 1.0 Anticipated Shift: days/weekends Daily Hours Worked: 7.5 Annual Base Hours: 1950 Salary: $19.038, $19.612, $20.198, $20.803, $21.429, $22.072 Job Summary: The incumbent will be responsible for performing a variety of clerical tasks, data entry, reception duties and supportive functions for clients, staff and the department in an efficient and effective manner. Qualifications: Required: Completion of Grade XII or recognized equivalent. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Experience in Customer service and ability to adapt to stressful situations in a high-pace environment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and Experience communicating with the public Detail oriented, self-starter, ability to work well independently and in a multi-disciplinary team Works with high level of confidentiality Must hold a satisfactory employment record. Must be able to legally work in Canada Preferred: Graduate of Medical Office Assistant course. Completion of recognized medical terminology course or equivalent Experience with electronic patient records (EMR) Assets: Experience with database management Experience working in a healthcare clinical environment, including interaction with patients and the public Knowledge of Population Health and Screening Programs.
