The Senior Manager, Payment Solutions - CCAU (Caribbean Central America and Uruguay) contributes to the overall success of the Global Transaction Banking strategy in the Caribbean, Central America & Uruguay ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. They ensure all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. The Senior Manager is accountable for the overall payment products strategy formulation and implementation of GTB related product mix, value added functionality and delivery of the service across Corporate, Commercial and Small Business Banking segments across the Caribbean and Central America. The incumbent is also responsible for maintaining product/portfolio competitiveness while identifying opportunities for business development to drive sustainable growth, achieving fair market share, and business line profitability across segments. This role requires strong written business case writing skills, strong communication skills, project execution skills, marketing experience, and people management experience. The Senior Manager contributes to the overall revenue and profitability of the regional GTB Business by working closely with Scotiabank teams both at head office and at international locations throughout the CCAU to successfully develop solutions to enhance our product capabilities and improve our digital and product penetration with our, local (country)regional and multi-national client base. The incumbent is also responsible for ensuring sales process are efficient, adequate product pricing (maximizing profits), and to generate and monitor monthly product P & L reporting.
