Commissionaires BC are seeking motivated security professional for one of our busiest sites in dowtown Kelowna. and West Kelowna. As an employee with Commissionaires BC, you’ll be working with an organization focused on growth and innovation. Starting rate of $23 p/h with a progressive pay scale to $27.00 Tues to Sat: positions available) Qualifications: You hold a valid BC Security License (required) A BC Class 5 DL with a clean driver's abstract (required) 1-2 years working in security You have excellent verbal and written English communication skills Your nice to haves: Non Violent Crisis Intervention training OFA Level 1 De-escalation skills Ability to work more than one site. Experience using Tracktik software Some of your responsibilities will include: Continuous foot and vehicle patrols of downtown Kelowna. Maintaining a safe environment for residents, business owners and those visiting Kelowna. Handling any crisis situations in a calm and controlled manner. Proactively responding to and resolving emergency situations and conflicts. Effectively communicating problems or concerns to the Site Supervisor. What’s in it for you?
