Purpose Contributes to the overall success of the Client Onboarding - Processing Department in Canada ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted follow governing regulations (AML/ATF, QI/FATCA, IIROC REG 1300, and CRS), internal policies and procedures. Accountabilitie s Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. Provides comprehensive review of client account opening and maintenance documents to help reduce the firms risk with applicable regulating bodies by reviewing for completeness and accuracy, analyzing, and approving/rejecting requests, or submitted documents using various applications (Webpost, AS400, HOD, Share Point, Wealth One). The incumbent supports various mid-office functions and ensures superior service is provided to Canadian Wealth Management branches while working closely with internal and external groups that support these businesses (e. g. OLB Customer Service, GWM Client Services, GWOSec Ops, Scotiatrust National Office). The incumbent is also expected to assist management in the development and delivery of new solutions and improved processes which allow the businesses we support to focus on customer service and business growth. Provides exceptional customer service support on Client Onboarding related queries by remaining current and informed on existing and new industry regulations and firm policies and procedures. Ensures the effective delivery of operational and administrative support to Canadian Wealth Management branches.
