Maintenance Supervisor Reporting to the Mine Maintenance Senior Supervisor, the Mine Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for coordinating trades, schedules, continuous improvement, and staffing to ensure company standards are maintained in the maintenance department. This position works a 4x4 schedule with a combination of days and nights. We are looking for someone with strong organization and planning skills, who has experience with employee relations and has the ability to work well with a team. Interpersonal and communication skills will be vital for success in this role. You will be a key player in the coordination of quality maintenance and repair of mine equipment to improve availability and reliability of production. You will advise the troubleshooting of equipment failures to resolve root cause and initiate appropriate remedial actions. HVC operates a primarily Cat equipment fleet. C. which provides all of the comforts of city living. The mine site is also close to Merritt, Ashcroft, and Logan Lake, which all exude a small town community atmosphere. Responsibilities: Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures Manage daily and weekly work schedules to ensure work is complete on time and on budget through usage of Short Interval Controls Support the development of the 7-day schedule and the long-range plan Work with the Senior Supervisor to resolve need for, and approve the use of, overtime and resources to ensure operational requirements are met Collect and analyze work delay codes to identify challenges to timely completion of scheduled jobs and work with available resources to reduce or eliminate identified delays Improve employee work performance and efficiency through supervision, completing evaluations,.
