Location: 3704 32 St Suit#101, Vernon, BC, V1T 5N6 Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Position Available: 1 Salary: 69,420 annually Work hours: 30 hours, 9:00-16:30 (including 30 min lunch break), Monday to Friday Chopsticks Enterprises Ltd. offers logistic services with the most effective combination of air, ocean and road transport. We are always aiming to provide our customers with high-end services that offer practical, affordable, and time-saving solutions. We are currently looking for a ‘logistics distribution manager’ to join our team. The successful candidate will need to perform the following duties: Review and research client needs and develop the best method of approach to fulfill client’s requirement in central Okanagan and lower mainland. Schedule inbound deliveries and coordinate shipping and receiving activities Plan and implement optimal delivery routes for timely and efficient customer service Oversee the entire process of a shipment, keep track of quality, quantity, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency Keep up to date with relevant legislation, such as health and safety regulations Administer and manage the daily operation of the distribution center Create staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage, supervise and coach staff to enhance team performance Hire, train and terminate employees Who can apply: A secondary school diploma is required.
