Our success is the result of our commitment to our People and Products. Qualifications: Post-secondary Diploma/Certificate in relevant technical field. Experience working with conventional computer applications and lab equipment software packages. Basic Metallurgical and/or Chemistry background. Experience working in a lab environment performing destructive and/or non-destructive examination of materials. Desired: Certified Lab Technician Experience in Nuclear industry Strong Mechanical aptitude Ultrasonic Testing Certification, CGSB Level 1 or higher The Position: Operation and maintenance of modern lab equipment (e. g. UT, microscopes, Gas Chromatograph, tensile machine, etc. ) required to support daily production activities. Prepare, test/analyze and report on results of production samples, as per procedures. Prepare, test/analyze and report on results of samples for NPI, investigations, evaluations, qualifications etc. Perform, analyze, track, and record UO2, Be, Urine, dosimeters, and other samples on a regular basis as required by EHS.
