Job Summary: Under the direction of the Brand Manager, the Associate Brand Manager (ABM) will be a key brand team member, working to develop and execute Marketing strategies – in a wide range of tea segments, capsules format and export- to drive growth and enhance equity for the Traditional Medicinal brand. The ABM will wear many hats and act as business analyst, project manager, and consumer champion across the organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Business Ownership Analyze consumer/consumption data to monitor health of business and identify insights to drive strategy and direction Support the creation and execution of the business growth objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional team to deliver accurate forecasts and monitor sales shipments Demonstrate strong understanding of key P&L drivers for the portfolio, especially when evaluating new formats, channels, and packaging configurations. Partner with Sales, Shopper & Customer Marketing to identify and execute strategic growth opportunities at retail Manage the business day-to-day, including budgets and serving as a point person for the communications team on execution of brand campaigns, and packaging and marketing collateral updates Brand Strategy Assist Brand Manager with development and execution of strategic plans, priorities, objectives, and budgets pertaining to the management of the portfolio Assist in deployment of marketing plans and packaging updates; work with external agencies as well as cross-functional teams on creative development and logistics Steward both big picture strategy and executional details, including identifying areas for optimization Project Management Manage key marketing projects, including, but not limited to: Packaging optimization—lead packaging updates of assigned portfolio when needed. Track & execute packaging changes for consistency across the line and manage process according to packaging production timelines. Leadership Lead cross-functional teams to drive key projects and initiatives Serve as a passionate steward, advocate, and gatekeeper for the Traditional Medicinals brand across channels and formats. Nurture a collaborative consumer-oriented culture within Traditional Medicinals Champion our consumers and customers across all projects and initiatives Minimum Requirements : Education/Experience Bachelor's degree required, MBA highly preferred, ideally with a marketing emphasis 1– 2 years brand management experience preferably in the CPG space Familiarity with data analytics, innovation, packaging development, and market research processes Experience working with SPINS, IRI or Nielsen data E-commerce (Amazon & DTC) experience highly preferred Functional Skills Passionate about our brand, consumers, and mission Strong ability to analyze and synthesize data to uncover insights Excellent strategic thinking & decision-making skills Very strong team player, ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams. Project management skills, including ability to manage against strategies, budgets and timelines Great problem-solving skills & sense of job ownership Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks Passion for natural and organic products and working for a purpose driven company a plus Leadership Skills Strong ability to inspire and motivate self and others (including executive management) to drive initiatives forward Strong sense of urgency, even when managing initiatives with long lead times Adaptability and flexibility to meet changing priorities Ease giving and receiving feedback Embody the Traditional Medicinals values of Respect, Collaboration, Innovation, Humility, Quality and Sustainability Travel Requirements: Potentially travel 1-4 times per year for conferences, trade shows, trainings and/or buyer meetings. Physical/Mental Requirements : This position operates in a professional open cubical office environment. Will be required to frequently communicate with others, and routinely uses computer and standard office equipment. Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time. Supervisor Responsibilities: none Working Location Requirements: This position is based in Rohnert Park, CA. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 - 5:00 pm. This is a hybrid role offering the flexibility to occasionally work remotely. Expected in-offices days are Tuesday , Wednesday and Thursday. Subject to change. Compensation range is $92,800.00 - $121,800.00 per year. Compensation is determined based on non-discriminatory, business-related factors, including but not limited to, training, experience, education and/or professional certifications, geographic location, and market data.
