The mission for the seasonal position of Youth Supervisor for Berry Harvesting is to supervise youth groups professionally and follow Stahlbush policies, serving as a role model and ensuring the safety and productivity of the crew 100% of the time. If you have leadership and agriculture experience and are excited to support a team to work in a safe and efficient environment, this is your role! We are always looking for motivated, qualified individuals to join our family. This is a seasonal role that will support the duration of the berry season. 5:30 am – 4:30 pm Monday through Saturday - It's a 6-day/week schedule! Schedule may vary due to harvest logistics, weather, and fruit maturity. Estimated to start in late June and end approximately late August. Responsibilities Assist supervisor with instruction, training, and supervision of youth in designated areas. Scheduling and managing crew attendance to meet 100% of machine berry harvester needs. Positively motivating youth crews to meet harvest and team goals. Be a great teacher and understand that many of the youth it is their first job; give feedback to promote improvement. Fill in for supervisor during absence. Follow outlined production processes, adhere to all Stahlbush safety policies and procedures. Communicate with supervisors. Maintain clean work environment. Youth Supervisor performs other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma Leadership experience and a passion to help others work diligently and stay safe! Bilingual Spanish/English highly preferred Youth Supervisor has work experience in the field of agriculture.
