This job is critical to ensuring our successful buyers receive their auction items in a timely manner while maintaining our world-class customer service.Our buyers expect that auction items arrive in the exact condition inspected in auction, and this position delivers that world-class service. Click here to check out RIAC's hiring video!Work part-time (20-25 hours each week) for world-class companies with 1 st shift schedule from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00p.m. (noon). Flexible start and end time. What does world-class warehouse support look like? Prepare, pack, and ship auction items while upholding regulatory compliance and company standards of excellence in safety, quality, and efficiency. Move and handle inventory items, including antique firearms, edged and bladed weaponry, military memorabilia, historic relics, and valuable collectibles using the highest level of safety and respectfulness possible. Assist with company auctions from start to finish by assisting with floor layout, delivering customer service excellence, and disassembling the auction floor as needed. Why work for RIAC? Qualified candidates meet the following requirements: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required; Prior relevant work experience with production, warehouse, supply chain management, inventory, material handling, or other related field highly preferred; Basic proficiency using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) required; and Valid driver’s license (non-CDL) required. Physical Requirements Constantly moving and transporting up to 50 pounds. Traversing and moving for prolonged periods up to 100% of the time with frequent ascending, descending, or positioning self to move and handle inventory items. Must be able to travel using various modes of transportation including airplane. Must be able to constantly communicate and exchange accurate information. Must be able to detect, identify, inspect, observe, perceive and assess warehouse, inventory control, shipping, and auctions tasks, processes, and procedures. Occasionally operates and uses computer and other relevant equipment and office machinery. Constantly works with and around firearms, bladed weaponry, militaria, historic relics, and valuable collectibles.
