Description:
Perform data collection and report generation necessary for the engineering economic analysis of proposals and capital expenditure projects. Be a consulting figure to the executive leadership in budget planning and planning for annual revenue forecast. Ensure the integrity of facility performance databases, in accordance with the company productivity instruction, to reflect line and production variants due to new business, process changes, and related annual variable budget revisions. Initiate proposals and provide alternatives to increase productivity. Support operations with instruction and training on statistical process control; propose statistically determined target volumes to optimize facility utilization. Work along with a diverse group of associates in the warehouse as needed while pitching in and assisting workflow as needed. Provide AD-HOC reporting, analysis & assistance to the regulatory department on investigations and DEA audits. Support the new business development process by developing staffing and capacity cost estimates. Support and coach less experienced Industrial Engineers, Production coordinators, Operational business analyst, and other technical and support staff.3 years of experience (or 5 years with Bachelor?s degree) as an Intern, Graduate Research Assistant or related industrial engineering occupation. Experience must demonstrate skills with:- Lean Methodology and Six Sigma Techniques including: Root cause analysis, DMAIC process, Statistical process control, Pareto analysis, Value stream mapping and Failure mode & effects analysis.- Time and Motion Study- Design Software AutoCAD- Process Mapping software: Microsoft Visio or Draw.io- Data visualization software: Incorta or Looker Studio- Data analytics software: Alteryx, SQL Server and SQL Server Management StudioMaster?s OR Bachelor?s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field; foreign equivalents accepted.
