Assistant Ecologist Chelmsford We are looking for an Assistant Ecologist to join a large multi: disciplinary company near Chelmsford. The company work in a range of sectors including residential, commercial, energy and education and work all across the South East. You will be working alongside Landscape Architects, Ecologists and Arboriculturalists in a sociable open office. They have a hybrid work set up and working from home is also available. The company offer a generous holiday allowance, training budgets, paid overtime and CIEEM memberships paid for and pool cars available. There will also be plenty of training days internally and externally. Whilst working as an Assistant Ecologist, you will be; Conducting ecological surveys, backssments, record habitats accurately, Assisting in analysing ecological data collected from field surveys Helping deliver concise findings to our clients, Working closely with the team of ecologists and other professionals, actively contributing to various projects, Involved in environmental impact backssments, habitat management plans, and biodiversity conservation strategies. For this role, you will ideally have; A degree in Ecology, or a related field, Experience in conducting ecological surveys and backssments, Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools, Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Knowledge of relevant environmental legislation and regulations, Proficiency in using ecological survey equipment and software, Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast: paced environment Interested in this Assistant Ecologist vacancy?
