Job Title: Bookkeeper Location: London, EC1A 9ET, we may consider a hybrid working system (home/office) for this role! Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 per year (DOE)Job type: Permanent, Full time. The Role: We are Carbon Accountancy; we are now recruiting and we want you! We are an exceptionally skilled accountancy practice with offices in London, Reading and Dublin. We are now looking to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in our London office! Required Skills/Experience: At least 2 years' experience in a bookkeeping role. A good understanding of Sage 50, Quick Books or Xero would be advantageous Be dependable, fluent in English, Ability to manage your own time and demonstrate a flexible approach to work. An eye for detail whilst being able to prioritise your work to ensure that deadlines are met. Key Responsibilities and Duties: Process sales invoices, purchase invoices, expense claims, bank payments and receipts Liaise with clients/suppliers - responding to finance related enquiries Credit control of overdue accounts Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards Reconcile trade debtors and trade creditors Post PAYE and other journals Prepare VAT returns Identify potential VAT and PAYE problems and bring to a manager's attention Providing support to senior members of staff Visit clients occasionally in their premises Benefits: Pension after 3-month probation period.20 days + bank holidays!
