Assistant Librarian Epsom Full Time Fixed Term until September 2024 (maternity cover)Up to £27,827 p. a This is an exciting position for an enthusiastic Assistant Librarian within a busy college Learning Resources Centre Assistant Librarian - What we are looking for: A degree or above in a Library or Education related discipline. Ideally you should have some experience working in a library The skills to teach information and digital literacy to learners with a wide range of abilities Excellent communication skills and IT skills, accuracy and attention to detail, and be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. Assistant Librarian - Duties/responsibilities: Assist in the day-to-day running of the Learning Centre Updating reading lists Delivering information literacy sessions Helping students access resources, systems and platforms Answering enquiries, issuing and returning library materials Shelving and tidying.
