Salary: £28,454 Region: Wolverhampton Job Type/Function: Transport Closing Date:20 September 2023 Contract Type: Permanent Total number of weekly/annual hours:45 LGV Cat C (HGV 2) Driver (Involves nights out) - based Bilston WV14DHL, award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a HGV Class 2 Driver to play a vital role in our distribution service. WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL? Hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card Have a minimum of 12 months commercial LGV Cat C experience Monday to Friday - with nights out on a Monday and Wednesday - 04:00 start on Monday and Wednesday Delivering steel products to factories - average 12 drops over a 2 day period Mon/Tues - South Coast, Wed/Thurs - East Anglia and Friday local Midlands No manual handling, involves securely strapping the load WHAT ABOUT YOUR ROLE? As a DHL Supply Chain Driver, you will be playing your part in keeping the world moving by safely and efficiently delivering goods to our customers. We need you to: Be an Ambassador for DHL Supply Chain, have a Can Do, Right First Time and Passionate approach to your role Enjoy working as part of a successful team Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations Available for 2 nights out per week - £26.20 night out allowance WHY CHOOSE US?
