EmployBridge Search is currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Engineer in the Oxnard CA area. The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing assigned sections of the QA Program. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Plan and direct activities for development, application and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes, materials and products * Develop and write procedures to implement the quality assurance program * Conducts audits to ensure compliance * Develops and implements quality training programs * Identify, analyze and implements corrective action plan to prevent reoccurrence both internally and externally * Reviews and provides feedback on customers RFP for quality assurance requirements * Prepares quality plans to assure that customer's contractual quality requirements are followed * Work directly with customer to resolve complex problems and aid as required * Work with cross-functional teams on quality assurance issues * Maintain and obtain necessary documentation for projects * Other projects and duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's degree in related field * 3 plus years of quality assurance experience or equivalent combination of education and experience * 3 plus years of quality assurance experience at a quality engineer level preferred * Certified Quality Engineer preferred * Experience with Aerospace and Military Quality Assurance Systems and procedures * FAR or DAR and ASPR knowledge * Working knowledge of Geometrics (ABSI Y-14.5) * Strong analytical and critical thinking skills * Excellent project management skills * Proficient in MS Office Products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) * In accordance with California laws, the expected salary for this position is $90,000-$140,000/year. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and education.
