EMPLOYBRIDGE SEARCH is currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Director in the Oxnard CA area. The Director of Quality Assurance will be responsible for the quality assurance activities. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Oversee all quality assurance activities which includes formulating, developing program designs, developing and implementing policy and procedures. * Issue formal product process specifications. * Plan, schedule, coordinate and direct the quality assurance program in conformance with customer's requirements, engineering specifications, government regulations and production schedules. * Develop and implement a Business Management System that ensures compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including AS9100, ISO 9001 and NADCAP * Ensure all product quality issues are managed in a timely and effective manner * Manage of department budget to ensure resources are allocated appropriately and all department expenses are within budget * Monitor, maintain and update all Quality Assurance documentation, including procedures, work instructions and forms * Develop and implement a quality control system to monitor product quality and identify opportunities for improvement * Perform and manage internal audits, corrective actions and the associated follow-up actions and inform key leadership actions that may impact the business management system. * Perform management reviews on the Business Management System * Identify and implement cost saving processes. * Manage and report KPIs matrixes * Ensure that all employees are trained and equipped to perform their roles QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical field * 5 plus years of quality assurance experience in an aerospace or related manufacturing industry * Experience with hydraulics, filters or values is a plus * Supervisory leadership of a quality team required * Excellent presentation skills both written and verbal * MS Office Products, ERP QMS experience * Experience with cost of quality and the ability to manage toward improvement * Supplier Quality Management which includes corrective action system, supplier scoring, corrective action plans and management, supplier assessments and audits for general capacity, production readiness and project specific * Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management experience * In accordance with California laws, the expected salary for this position is $120,000-$188,000/year. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and education
