Their Oxfordshire based team has a wealth of experience and expertise advising on an extensive range of projects nationwide with a focus on integrating ecological habitats and wildlife benefits within new developments. They are looking for a Senior Ecologist to join them. This is a full: time, permanent role Based in Oxfordshire. Your package includes: Salary of GBP29,000 : GBP35,000 Clear progression pathway Full training and support Our client stands apart from other consultancies through their emphasis on the quality of the work they do. They also have a brilliant internal training programme to boost your learning and experience allowing you to progress quickly. Their portfolio of projects is wide ranging both geographically and in terms of the sectors within which they operate. Recent examples include HS2 and Manston Airport in Kent. You will be organising, overseeing and undertaking a range of field survey work for habitats and faunal species (e. g. Phase 1, bats, Badger, GCN, reptiles, Otter, Water Vole, nesting birds, etc. ) across the UK. You will also carry out background research, prepare fee proposals, manage and analyse field survey data, manage projects, liaise with clients, as well as carrying out interpretation, proofing and writing of technical reports such as diligence backssments, ecological appraisals, EIA chapters, shadow HRAs, licence applications and management plans. To succeed you will need: A minimum of 3 : 4 years relevant professional experience in ecological consultancy or closely related field including the public sector or conservation bodies A relevant degree and/or post graduate qualification, with a strong academic ability and record The ability to produce concise, high.
