The ideal candidate must possess strong writing skills, a business and entrepreneurial sense, proactive nature, and exceptional communication, analytical, problem-solving, and issue resolution skills. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and client service, effective management of internal and external client and counsel relationships, and the ability to handle multiple files and competing deadlines. Job Duties:Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on complex appellate matters.Draft persuasive appellate briefs, memos, and other legal documents.Prepare for and present oral arguments before appellate courts.Represent clients in appellate court proceedings, including hearings and oral arguments.Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients on appellate issues and case strategy.Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals within the firm on appellate matters.Manage internal and external client and counsel relationships effectively.Handle multiple files and competing deadlines efficiently. Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the state bar in Illinois.5-15 years of experience in appellate advocacy.Strong writing skills.Business and entrepreneurial sense.Proactive nature.Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and issue resolution skills.Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and client service.Ability to effectively manage multiple files and competing deadlines. Certifications:Admission to the Illinois State Bar. Skills:Proficiency in legal research and analysis.Exceptional writing and drafting skills.Strong advocacy and oral presentation skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Effective time management and organizational skills.Strong client relationship management skills.Familiarity with appellate court procedures and rules.
