Service Care Solutions are looking for a Database Administrator to work within the Lincolnshire Constabulary on a 6-month contract. Location: Lincolnshire Job role/responsibilities: The Database Administrator will be a highly technically skilled individual with the responsibility for the design, implementation, configuration and on-going management and maintenance of all Database related technology within the department. Service Care Solutions are looking for a Database Administrator to work within the Lincolnshire Constabulary on a 6-month contract. Location: Lincolnshire Job role/responsibilities: The Database Administrator will be a highly technically skilled individual with the responsibility for the design, implementation, configuration and on-going management and maintenance of all Database related technology within the department. The database administrator will be integral to the Solutions Team working closely with all aspects of the Digital and Data Directorate such as servers, networks, developers, and analysts. Manage SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems. Apply data modelling techniques to ensure development and implementation support efforts meet integration and performance expectations. Analyse, diagnose and resolve technical and database issues. Ensure timely resolution of incidents, problems and change as defined in the agreed Service Levels. Plan for backup and recovery of database information ensuring the backups are verified and successful. Planning and managing exercises to prove recovery procedures. Implement recovery procedure when necessary. Deploy database change scripts provided by in-house developers and third-party vendors Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours, when required.
