Annual salary: up to £22,672.00Facilities Operative (School Janitor) – Mears FMLocation: Portree School on the Isle of Skye Permanent position - Full time5 days over a 7 day period40 Hours Per Week£23,172.00 per annum and potentially earn an extra £1000.00 a year on standby The role will involve: We are looking for a Facilities Operative who will be responsible for janitorial duties in the School. The role will predominantly be based at Portree School. A reliable, self-sufficient, problem solver who works well under pressure and is adaptive to change. Responsibilities include: Opening and securing the buildings for core hours Monitoring contractors on site Maintaining the school buildings and grounds Supporting the building users with day-to-day requests including porterage and churn Legislative daily, weekly, monthly building checks Receiving deliveries Maintaining swimming pool and associated plant (A pool plant operator course will need to be successful completed within your probation period. )What you must have: Excellent communication skills The successful candidate will be required to undertake a full Disclosure check. The successful candidate will be required to sit and pass the relevant certification a pool plant operators certificate All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK, Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
