We have a fantastic new opportunity for a Customs Compliance Analyst to join the Global Logistics team, based at our site in Andover. As a Customs Compliance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in our Global Logistics team. You'll lead and support essential international customs and trade compliance projects while serving as the primary point of contact for import and export operational inquiries, as well as international customs and trade matters. We are looking for an individual who has a significant analytical problem-solving ability, that can also analyse and interpret complex problems, incorporating data and information researched and gathered from a variety of sources. A background in logistics and or customs/trade compliance or having worked within the logistics industry is preferable. Responsibilities: Direct operational responsibility for UK / EU Customs and Trade Compliance program as well as oversight and / or support of projects in US and other global markets as needed. Both Import and Export and other areas of Customs and Trade Compliance as needed. Ensure import and export shipments conform to governmental rules and regulations by managing inquiries, requests from forwarders, manufacturing sites, distribution centres, etc. to ensure efficient and compliant movement of Stannah products and equipment. Identify areas for process improvement in the daily resolution of customs and trade compliance related international transactions. Support the development and maintenance of customs and trade compliance process and procedures. Assign and review global Harmonized Tariff Codes. Update and review master data, Global Classification solution and customs broker regular database updates. Ensure correct use of Commodity codes and maintain centralised data base. Correctly apply rules of origin for all products shipped globally. Evaluate, investigate, and mitigate potential customs and trade compliance risks. Experience with utilising.
