You have the opportunity to join this exciting journey as an Assistant Accountant; responsible for ensuring financial processes operate efficiently to support the business in meeting our ambitious growth targets. You will join a growing finance team with significant future career opportunities combined with support towards your professional accountancy qualification. About the role Reporting to the UK Financial Controller, the Assistant Accountant will be responsible for financial transaction processing (AR/AP/Cash and payroll) and assisting the month end close; ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious part qualified accountant to take ownership of these areas and drive process improvements as we move to a new ERP system (Net Suite). You will: Take responsibility for the accounts payable function; reviewing purchase orders and invoices and liaising with the procurement team / other business functions to ensure invoices are coded correctly. Liaise with outsourced payroll providers and the Nexeon People Team; ensuring information for the monthly payroll process is accurate and all deadlines are met. Process employee expenses and reconcile the monthly company credit card statement. Perform the weekly supplier payment run for review by the UK Financial Controller. Liaise with the commercial team and raise sales invoices as requested. Perform weekly bank reconciliations and monitor cash balances across all bank accounts to ensure compliance with the Nexeon Treasury Policy Be comfortable. Visit ListedBuy for more information.
