Shift Manager Deeside 4 on 4 off7am-7pm/7pm-7am£40,000-£45,000 My Client who is a leading manufacturer within their field is seeking an experience Shift Manager to join their team. Shift Manager: Experience within the manufacturing industry An ability to make informed decisions used in improving output and OEE. Safety and Quality responsibilities. Strong people management skills with coaching Excellent organisational skills IT Skills- email, excel, word, labour planning. Shift Manager: Key Responsibilities / Challenges: Drive production to maximise efficiency Ensure all team members are trained and able to carry out tasks Ensure the process and sign-off documentation is completed. Leading a team of technicians, process Setter and Operators to achieve targets. Using the live Barco machine monitoring, respond and resolve the causes of down time, quality issues and scrap. Help plan staffing levels and control holidays Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, H & S, to deliver production efficiency. Work as close as possible to the production plan and priorities Ensure that equipment, energy, labour and raw materials are used effectively Deliver improvements in OEEEnsure compliance with Health & Safety policy and procedures through safe working practices and good housekeeping Manage at least 8 direct reports SALARY & BENEFITS: Membership of a Group Personal Pension plan; Employee Assistance Programme; Sick Pay after qualifying period.
