Development / Technical Engineer : New Build Housing The Company: We are working with a Small Regional Housebuilder who have exciting plans for the development of their business and have a really good pipeline of work covering the next 10 years+. They have a really reliable supply chain, have excellent financial backing and have the freedom to operate independently. The company Directors are vastly experienced housebuilders who will pass on their knowledge and share their experience to help you in your role. The Role: They are now in a position to add a Technical Engineer to their site team to be involved at every stage of the construction process through site layout and preparation, obtaining relevant council and agency approvals, ensuring ecological responsibilities are met and offering technical support to the operational teams. They have over 10 years worth of work and need to recruit for a large development building 4 and 5 bed houses that is already on site. Responsibilities: Commission site surveys and reports from external consultants and the design team. Attend and contribute to design team, engineering, pre: start and site progress meetings as required. Review and check design solutions for road and sewers, foundations, drainage and proposed levels for technical approval submissions and procurement packages. Ensure all design solutions are the most cost effective and comply with planning, building regulations and NHBC/LABC standards. Co: ordinate and manage all aspects of NHBC / LABC building control and warranty provision. Checking dimensions for foundations, concrete levels and involvement with topographical surveys Secure technical approval for S38/278 roads and S104 sewers adoptions where required and co: ordinate the bonds through to adoption including POS adoption/transfers.
