Former Tenant Arrears Officer Camden, London Full Time - Hybrid Temp 6 Months We are currently searching for a confident and well-experienced Former Tenant Arrears Officer to join our team, on a full time, temporary basis with an initial contract period of 6 months. This role offers a Hybrid working approach. The purpose of this role is to maximise the collection of rent and service charges, as well as offering advice and realistic repayment plans to former tenants, while providing excellent customer service. Requirements Previous experience as a Former Tenant Arrears Officer, Income Officer, or similar Previous experience working for a Housing Association or similar Good understanding of Possession orders and how this effects the debt chasing procesinteractionperience and understanding of conducting Experian checks to locate previous tenants Good knowledge of Universal credit, Housing benefit, and welfare benefits, and how these effect tenants Previous experience of debt collection, negotiation, and agreeing upon repayment planinteractioncellent knowledge of IT processes, including Word and Excel Excellent customer service Role Expectations Contact former tenants with arrears and advise on payment options, and negotiate realistic repayment agreements where necessary Provide former tenants with welfare benefits advice where required and identify arrears cases where customers need additional support and liaise with the relevant sections/agencies to ensure support is obtained Work alongside key partners, internal and external Responsibility for providing accurate information to homeowners, tenants, solicitors, legal representatives and mortgage lenders, in relation to the role Manage a complex.
