ROC Group provides care and support for children and young people living in the Northeast. Our services include supported accommodation, children’s homes, outreach/respite for children and supervised family time. As a Ledger Clerk, you’ll be working with all our teams to ensure the smooth financial running of the business. You will oversee and monitor spending, ensuring all payments are authorised, processed, and logged correctly. Ledger Clerks will also provide accurate financial information to the finance manager. The role will include: Process all purchase invoices and obtain approval for payment Logging, maintaining and filing invoices Creating company reports Investigating purchase ledger queries Dealing with supplier queries over the phone and via email Any other accounting duties reasonably required by the Finance Manager Ledger Clerk requirements: Experience in a similar accounting role Previous experience in a Ledger Clerk role would be an advantage but not essential Experience using Microsoft applications, especially Excel Attention to detail and ability to work individually and within a team Self-motivated and a positive nature A professional and caring value base Benefits: Paid for DBSWestfield Health Cash Plan & Rewards Profit share scheme Refer a friend bonus Recognition scheme Credit Union Saving Scheme Intensive induction and full training Holiday increases for length of service Comprehensive learning and development programme If.
