Missing from Home Support Worker - Stockport Are you a passionate, dedicated Family Support Worker looking for your next role 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Missing from Home Support Worker to join a team based in Stockport. You will be required to provide services to children and young people who have been reported missing. Umbrella Pay: £18.26 per hour Duration: 04/09/2023 - 4 months initially Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00, 37 hrs/ week - Hybrid Support Worker role: Full JD Available Conduct return home interviews to those reported missing to the police to ensure the appropriate provision of help and support with an aim of reducing missing from home episodes Supporting children, young people and their families where missing from home concerns have been raised, providing a timely and strength-based response to concerns regarding missing episodes with a focus on early intervention and prevention Inform an action plan to address any identified needs Identify " Push and Pull" factors that have attributed to the missing episode and work with the child, young person, family and or other services to prevent future missing incidents Undertake and EHA Early Help backssment to determine the need for Social Care services, including the identification of risk, the need for safeguarding children and young people to determine the method of intervention Deliver evidence based individual work and lead programmes with children, young people and families Plan and deliver innovative activities aimed at developing self-esteem, personal life skills and resilience to prevent future missing episodes Engage with wider partners to recognise and respond to concerns Escalate any immediate safeguarding concerns Ensure the appropriate gathering of information to be shared with Children's Social Care, Police and other services as relevant Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records of work undertaken with children, young people and their families Attend and.
