This pharmacist will have previous experience working on hospital wards. Position: Pharmacist Banding: 8a Location: Bristol Hours: 37.5 hours per week Duration: Ongoing contract Essential skills: - GPHC Registered - Clinical Experience - Relevent UK experience Role overview: Working with hospital inpatient dispensary team to support the pharmacist with clinical screening of hospital patient prescriptions and patient medications Day case medication, outpatient medication, take home prescriptions Working with hospital inpatient dispensary team to support the final accuracy checking of dispensed medication against hospital prescriptions Support the flow of work through the inpatient dispensary's to ensure work is being completed within target 75 minute target for discharge medication Prescriptions / orders are presented on the Trust's electronic patient record programme.
