The successful Phamacy Technician will be working full-time hours across Monday to Friday and hold relevant accreditation. Position: shop Technician Banding: 6 Location: Reading Hours: 37.5 hours per week Duration: Ongoing contract Typical duties include: - Providing safe and effective shop services - Supplying medicines and medical devices to patients, whether on prescription or over the counter and providing information on symptoms and products - Achieving the best outcomes through a patients medicines - Assembling and accuracy checking medicines for prescriptions - Providing information to patients, carers and other members of the healthcare team - Managing areas of medicines supply such as dispensaries - Supervising other shop staff Essential skills: - GPHC Registered - Clinical Experience - Relevent UK experience We are unable to support or accept applications from candidates who are residents within the Red or Amber list of the Code of practice for the international recruitment of health and social care personnel in England, based on the World Health Organisation WHO Workforce Support and Safeguard List.
