The role: We are looking for someone to #Join Us as an Assistant Solicitor in our Employment Team in Joint Legal Services. Could you be who we are looking for? About the team/Department you will be joining: This role is within a small team advising South Wales Police and Gwent Police forces on all employment issues. This is a part time, 18-hour pw maternity cover post for up to a 12 months' period. We mainly work remotely and in our Bridgend office. About the role and your key responsibilities: You will: investigate and case-manage pre-action and issued employment claims against, and on behalf of, both Forcesrepresent the Chief Constables at Court hearings and Tribunalsdraft, advise upon and manage general commercial and employment law issues. What skills and experience do we need you to bring to the role: You must have a sound understanding of the law and have knowledge and experience in the conduct and management of matters in employment law and employment tribunal claims.
