The role Do you have a curious brain with a drive to make improvements? Would you like to develop a career in manufacturing? Then this is a great role for you. As a Lead Operator in one of our manufacturing or packing areas you will be directly responsible for and will deliver day-to-day performance. You will be responsible for safety, quality, output and cost aspects within your line. You will contribute towards the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within your area so that we continue our journey to excellent performance. what you’ll be responsible for ● Responsible for operating the machine and coordinating a small team of permanent and temporary operators to achieve line targets ● Complying with graze safety standards, ensuring the environment is safe for work at all times, while contributing to the continuous improvement in site Safety culture ● Complying with graze quality and hygiene standards, championing the ownership of the quality culture and contributing.
