The role: Our engineering team is growing, and we are looking to appoint an experienced Manufacturing and Prototype Engineer. To be based in our head offices manufacturing unit in Greater Edinburgh. The role will be essential in the production implementation of new Sunamp products, supply chain management and technical factory support. In addition, the role will assume responsibility for the introduction of extensions to existing product ranges, implement value engineering initiatives and support the set: up of new Sunamp production sites globally. The Candidate: Minimum 5 years experience in large scale manufacturing and production, with associated technical tasks and prototyping responsibility. Good communication and presentation skills. Adaptability and readiness to challenge existing practices and find alternatives. Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and related standards is desirable. Previous experience of using Autodesk Inventor with proficiency. Working knowledge and experience of the HVAC industry is highly desirable. Requires minimal direction to undertake the role and supports departmental decision making. Seeks continuous self: improvement and ability to self: manage. Shares knowledge and.
