Head of Housing Needs Redbridge, London Temp 12 Months Full Time – Hybrid We have the fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join our team based in Redbridge, London, as an Interim Head of Housing Needs. This is a full time temporary position, with a 12 month contract length. This role offers a Hybrid working approach. The Head of Housing Needs will lead on all operational aspects of role, as well as implement new ways of working, and work on facilitating change within the wider team. Requirements Significant experience of managing performance and delivering housing needs services in an authority with high demand Experience managing a team and ability to ensure staff are effectively supervised an supported Ensure roles and objectives are clearly communicated to staff, and ensure services are delivered to the required standard Experience of managing the implementation of new ways of working, including supporting culture change, and compliance to new systems and processeinteractionperience of working with external suppliers and contractors to maximise the benefits of contractual relationships Understanding and knowledge of statutory, legal and contractual framework around tenancy, homeowners and shared owners’ management Ability to deal with complex queries and challenging individuals in a constructive and effective way Excellent knowledge of Housing and Homelessness legislation Be IT literate with excellent knowledge of Word and Excel Role Expectations Lead a dedicated team of professionals, providing guidance and support Liaise with key internal and external partners including housing authorities, community partners, and stakeholders to address housing needs effectively.
