Job Title: CNC Miller & Programmer Location: Cambridge Salary: £33,000 - £37,000Job type: Full Time, Minimum 8 hours a day Monday to Friday, overtime available evening and weekends Investing for the future, our highly skilled and well-trained staff, coupled with the latest in CNC machinery and technology, help us to maintain the high level of service our customers are looking for. Our aim is to deliver the best service every time. The role: The CNC Miller/Programmer is a permanent position at Genesis Precision, a company that has been established for over 20 years and is growing year on year based in Harston, South Cambridge. Experience Required: Program online using Heidenhain/Siemans controls and offline using Feature Cam/Hypermill Be able to machine multiple types of material (for example stainless steel, brass, copper, plastic etc. but not wood). Preferably an apprenticeship in either tool making or precision Engineering, they need to be able to program on and off line (online is on the machine and offline is from a computer software using CAM software, feature Cam & Hypermill experience. No qualifications are required just experience in programming & setting the CNC milling machines, 3 axis machine is a must have and a 4 and or 5 axis machines)A good computer knowledge would be great as they do need to use a computer for parts of the job The Candidate: Set and operate a variety of CNC machining centres. Be a strong team player with enthusiastic and positive attitude and good organisation skills. In return, we will provide: Excellent rates of pay with overtime available.
